Midsummer

Birch, wildflowers and a long table

Free · 3 designs a day

Midsummer is one of Renova's 15 occasion themes. Upload a photo of your room, house or garden, and it decorates that space for the Midsummer celebration: birch branches, wildflower wreaths and garlands, a small maypole on the lawn and a long table with a white cloth, strawberries and flowers. It is for anyone planning a Midsummer party.

How it works

  1. Upload a photo of your room, house or garden
  2. See the result, then save it or keep going

When it helps

Use it in the weeks before Midsummer, while you plan where the party will be: a long table on the lawn of a summer cottage, a deck by the lake, a balcony in town, or the dining table indoors in case it rains. It shows where the birch branches, the wreaths and the table could go, so you can compare the garden with the inside before you pick flowers or borrow chairs.

Tips for the photo

Outdoors, stand at the edge of the lawn or the deck and include the open space where a long table and a maypole could stand, with a little of the house or the trees around it. Indoors, take the photo from the doorway with the table, the window and some floor in frame. Hold the phone level at chest height. Clear away toys, tools and garden hoses first. Daylight shows the place most clearly, and the low evening sun works well too.

What it does not do

Each result is an idea shown as a picture. It keeps your furniture, walls, floor, windows, doors, plants and camera angle, and adds only what could be brought in for the day and taken away after, though small details may shift. The picture may show the place in bright evening light. It writes no words, so it adds no signs or name cards. It does not measure your lawn, order flowers or tell you how many guests fit at the table.

Is it free to try?

Yes. The free plan gives you 3 designs a day, and each decorated photo counts as one. Pro raises that to 50 designs a day and removes the watermark.

Is it the same as midsommar or juhannus?

Yes. Midsummer is celebrated around the longest days of June under many names, such as midsommar in Sweden, juhannus in Finland, sankthans in Norway and Jāņi in Latvia. The theme adds decorations many of these celebrations share: birch branches, wildflower wreaths, a maypole and a long table.

Does it work indoors?

Yes. Upload a photo of your living room, kitchen or dining room, and it decorates that room for Midsummer with birch branches, wildflowers and a table set with flowers and strawberries, keeping your furniture and walls as they are.

Can I choose the flowers or the colors?

No. Midsummer has no options to choose, so each design picks its own flowers, colors and arrangement. Make it again from the same photo to see another version.
