Tips for your photo
Take the photo in daylight, with the lights on, so colors and corners are clear. Stand in a doorway or a corner and hold the phone level at chest height, so the picture shows the floor, two walls and most of the furniture. Put away small clutter first: the design works from what it can see. Then choose the right room type, because a kitchen and a bedroom get different furniture.
What it does not do
The result is a picture of an idea, not a plan. It does not measure the room, list products, order furniture or check what can be built. It keeps the walls, windows, doors, ceiling and camera angle of your photo. Refresh also keeps the furniture and floor, while Redesign may change the furniture, its layout and the finishes. Check sizes and materials in the real room before you buy anything.
