When an empty room is hard to picture

A photo of an empty room shows its size and light, not how it could feel to live in. Tips for the photo

Daylight works best, so open the curtains or blinds, and switch on the ceiling lights in a dark room. For an open-plan space, frame the part you want furnished.

It keeps the walls, floor, ceiling, windows, doors and camera angle of your photo and adds furniture and decor around them, though small details such as sockets or vents may shift. It does not measure the room, check that a sofa fits, or order anything: the pieces are invented by the AI, not taken from a shop, so measure before you buy.
