Renova's Floor plan to 3D tool turns a 2D floor plan into a picture of the same home, furnished and seen from above in 3D. Upload a scan or photo of your plan, choose a style, and see how the rooms could look. It helps home buyers, renters and anyone planning a move or a build.
How it works

What it is good for
A floor plan is hard to picture if you do not read plans every day. This tool shows it as a home: every room furnished for its use, seen from above at a slight angle, like an architect's 3D view. People use it when they buy a home that is not built yet, compare apartments to rent, plan a new build or an extension, or want to show their family how a layout could feel. Try two or three styles on the same plan, such as Scandinavian and Mid-century, to see which suits the space.
Tips for your floor plan
Use a clean, straight scan, or a photo taken from directly above in even light, with the whole plan in the frame and no shadows across it. Dark lines on a white background work best. Crop away the title block, notes and anything around the plan. Room names and measurements can stay, but the result leaves them out. Upload one floor at a time: for a house on two levels, make one design per floor.
What it does not do
The result is a picture of an idea, not a technical drawing. It follows the walls, rooms, doors and windows of your plan and tries to keep their proportions, but it does not measure anything or check that the furniture fits. It chooses the furniture, materials and colors itself, so they may differ from what you have in mind. It does not order furniture, check building rules or replace an architect.
