Halloween

Pumpkins, candles and cobwebs

Free · 3 designs a day

Halloween is one of Renova's 15 occasion themes, and a quick way to get Halloween decoration ideas for your own home. Upload a photo of your room, house or garden, and it decorates that same space with carved pumpkins, glowing jack-o'-lanterns, candles, cobwebs and a few bats. It is for anyone planning decorations before they buy.

How it works

  1. Upload a photo of your room, house or garden
  2. See the result, then save it or keep going

When it helps

Use it in the weeks before Halloween, while you plan what to buy and where it goes: a front porch for trick-or-treaters, a living room for a party with friends, or a small flat with room for only a few decorations. See how your own space could look before you buy pumpkins, candles and fake cobwebs, and try both the porch and the living room to decide which one to decorate most. The designs are spooky but stylish, with nothing gory.

Tips for the photo

Photograph the space you will really decorate, from where guests first see it: the path to the front door, or the doorway of the room. Clear away laundry, toys and bins first. Hold the phone level at chest height and include the places where decorations could go, such as the steps, the mantel, a shelf or the table. Daylight shows the space most clearly, and an evening photo with the lamps on works too. Outside, include the door, the porch or the garden and a little of the path.

What it does not do

Each result is an idea shown as a picture. It keeps your furniture, walls, floor, windows, doors, plants and camera angle, and adds only what could be brought in for the night and put away after, though small details may shift. The picture may show the scene at dusk, so the jack-o'-lanterns and candles glow. It writes no words on signs, and it does not order decorations or count what to buy.

Questions and answers

Is it free to try?

Yes. The free plan gives you 3 designs a day, and each decorated photo counts as one. Pro raises that to 50 designs a day and removes the watermark.

Does it work indoors and outdoors?

Yes. Upload a photo of a room for indoor decorations, or of your front door, porch or garden for outdoor ones. Outside, it decorates the space in the same spirit and keeps the house, the doors and the plants as they are.

Will the decorations be scary?

Spooky, but not gory. The designs use pumpkins, jack-o'-lanterns, candles, cobwebs and bats, styled like a magazine photo rather than a haunted house.

Can I choose the colors or the decorations?

Not in this theme: Halloween has no options, so each design picks its own decorations and arrangement. Make it again from the same photo to see another version.
